Laundry Love Overview
The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry expenses. For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. Partnering with local laundromats in St Charles County, each month Laundry Love ministries provides loads and loads of clean clothes to those in need. Laundry Love provides the quarters, laundry soap, dryer sheets and kind and compassionate volunteers.
Our Important Values
Community
Laundry Love is a neighborhood movement, located right here in St. Charles County. With our supply of laundry detergent and quarters, we serve those living in our community, who are struggling financially, by assisting them with their laundry costs.
Collaboration
Collaboration and everyday hospitality is central to our ministry. Together Trinity and Transfiguration are building trust within our community, through the simple act of clean laundry. We are in partnership with Starcrest and Crossroads laundromats to provide facilities that help foster a safe, respectful place to do laundry free of charge.
Commitment
Laundry Love calls us to live lives that return. Unity built by selfless concern, commitment and consistency. It’s a commitment of time and resources. Our volunteers donate a portion of their time each month; our churches are committed to supporting the financial needs of this ministry. A life that returns is a practice of love.
